Sarah Marie Curry, Cat Drago
Formed in April of 2014, Cascade is an improv duo starring Sarah Marie Curry (Austin performer, teacher, coach, and award-winning actor) and Cat Drago (Austin director, performer, teacher). Both of them have been doing improv and scripted theater for the majority of their lives, and have been improv partners for 5 years now, since Sarah Marie sent Cat a proposal after seeing her in a dramatic show. Since then, they’ve been pushing boundaries of where improv can take them and finding the joy and gravity of doing dramatic improvised work. When they’re not working together they enjoy incessantly taking personality quizzes together and sending each other postcards from across town.

Impromptu is an improv troupe that specializes in creating unscripted plays set during the post-WWII era (1940s-60s). The post-WWII era was a time of drama, passion, critical world events, and the celebration of family. Theatre was rich with emotional stories, as were the times. Impromptu taps into those eras and brings audiences an exciting theatrical experience – improvised from the moment we receive an audience suggestion. It’s exciting and exhilarating! Come join us!

Aden Nepom, Eric Nepom
Manacle creates an improvised short play based on a story found in the audience. Eric and Aden take a few minutes at the top of every show to interview a real-life couple sitting in the crowd. Using their information, Manacle improvises a theatrically crafted performance that, complete with leads and with supporting characters, gives you a voyeuristic glimpse into the audience couple’s feelings, experiences and history. Whoever they get the story from, Manacle strives to give you a stage performance that feels as though each moment has been blocked, scripted, choreographed and rehearsed while still finding ways to surprise, break and delight each other.
Ande Cousins, Karina Mikhli, Anthony Saldana, Julian Vargas
Words are powerful. Join us as we explore how a confession or secret shared can impact those you know…and those you don’t. And since this is improvisation, our show will be an original, never-to-be repeated experience you won’t want to miss.

The Well-Made Play is patient and confident. It takes its time building up its tension, building up your emotional investment, and when it finally cuts loose, you’re right on the edge of your seat. You’re a giddy voyeur on the day when everything counts, and after which nothing can be the same.
The Well-Made Play is a fully improvised, full-length two-act play that takes its cues from traditional theater. Every move from both the cast and technical improvisers feels intentional and scripted. We’re confident that you’ve never seen a show quite like this one!
If you have any questions whatsoever, please feel free to drop us a line, and we’ll get back to you right away!
